Flamingo from Lion Country Safari, Florida

Lion Country Safari

#8618 Flamingo (Phoenicopterus ruber)
Flamingos dine on small animals by suing their curiously shaped bills to strain them from the mud.  Ranked among the top zoos in the nation, Bush Gardens maintains a strong commitment to wildlife preservation.

(error postcard - this is not from Bush Gardens - it was bought at Lion Country Safari - however this company sells the same cards to different zoos around the country, they only change the words on them, so I think they changed the front, but forgot to change the back) (**Update: I contacted Lion Country Safari, and yes, this is an error, they sent the rest of the cards back and ordered new ones :)

Lion Country Safari is a drive-through safari park located in Loxahatchee (near West Palm Beach), in Palm Beach County, Florida. Founded in 1967, it claims to be the first 'cageless zoo' in the United States.
In 2009, USA Travel Guide named Lion Country the 3rd best zoo in the nation.
