White Tiger from Lion Country Safari, Florida

Lion Country Safari

#11993 White Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris)

The white tiger once inhabited the north and east of central India but was prized for its unique coat and hunted to near extinction.  Today the white Bengal tiger is bred only in zoos.  All tigers require an environment of dense forest and wild hoofed animals that make the bulk of their diet.  Unfortunately, most of their original range has been destroyed and all tigers are considered endangered.
