Everglades National Park
American alligators roam widely through the Everglades Wetlands during the summer rainy season, and concentrate around drying pools during the winter and spring dry season. They feed opportunistically on whatever aquatic animals are locally most common including fish, crayfish, turtles, apple snails, water birds and small mammals.
