The Brittany is a compact, closely knit dog of medium size, leggy in appearance. The Brittany is strong, vigorous and energetic. The Brittany's first love is birds then people. A Brittany makes an excellent pointing bird dog because of his keen sense of smell. They are the only spaniel that points to game. Agreeable with children and other pets.
