A Ring Necked Pheasant from Kelly Glazner

National Postcard Week
May 3-9, 2015

Art by Kelly Glazner, NPCW 2015

The Ring Necked Pheasant was introduced to South Dakota and is originally from China.  South Dakota usually has the largest population of Ring Necked Pheasants in the United States and pheasant hunting is very popular there.  It was adopted as the state bird in 1943.

This unused postcard is # 60 in a limited edition of 80.
