The Danube Delta is the second largest river delta in Europe, after the Volga Delta. The greater part of the Danube Delta lies in Romania (Tulcea county), while its northern part, on the left bank of the Chilia arm, is situated in Ukraine (Odessa Oblast). It is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Snowy Egret in Port St. Lucie, Florida

The Snowy Egret (Egretta thula) is a small white heron.

Adults are typically 61 centimetres (24 in) long and weigh 375 grams (13.2 oz)
The area of the upper bill, in front of the eyes, is yellow but turns red during the breeding season, when the adults also gain recurved plumes on the back, making for a "shaggy" effect.
