An Animal IceCream Stand for Christmas

I do believe this is one of the cutest Christmas postcards I have ever seen!  The artist is: Julia Vuori. 

This was sent to me in 2025 from Finland.

Madagascar is a 2005 American computer-animated comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation and released to theaters on May 27, 2005.

The film tells the story of four Central Park Zoo animals who have spent their lives in blissful captivity and are unexpectedly shipped back to Africa, getting shipwrecked on the island of Madagascar. It features the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith; others voices include Sacha Baron Cohen, Cedric the Entertainer, and Andy Richter.

Kenya, officially the Republic of Kenya, is a country in East Africa that lies on the equator. It has a land area of 580,000 km2 and a population of a little over 43 million residents. The country is named after Mount Kenya, a significant landmark and second among Africa's highest mountain peaks.

Kenya is famous for its safaris and diverse world-famous wildlife reserves such as the East and West Tsavo National Park, the Maasai Mara, Nakuru National Park, and Aberdares National Park.

Kenya is active in several sports, among them cricket, rallying, football (soccer), rugby union and boxing. But the country is known chiefly for its dominance in Middle-distance and long-distance athletics. Kenya has consistently produced Olympic and Commonwealth Games champions in various distance events.

The sender writes:
'This picture was made by Navitrolla, who is a well-known artist in Estonia.  He has had exhibitions all over the world.  He has very many animals and when he started to draw them, his pictures became famous.  In Estonia T-shirts with his pictures are very popular.'

I am not sure if this is supposed to be a zebra and a spotted horse or what??  The noses, manes and tails are different. What ever they are, it is a fun piece of art.

Zoo Atlanta's zebras are a subspecies called Grant's Zebras.  Grant's Zebras are native to East Africa, north of the Zambezi River.  Each zebra's stripes are as individual as fingerprints, and serve to camouflage them from predators.

Lion Country Safari is a drive-through safari park located in Loxahatchee (near West Palm Beach), in Palm Beach County, Florida. Founded in 1967, it claims to be the first 'cageless zoo' in the United States.
In 2009, USA Travel Guide named Lion Country the 3rd best zoo in the nation.

This is an illustration from the book 'Tierisch Unter Strom by Peter Gut.  It is a book where, from what I understand, animals test machines.  A cat rides fan blades like a carouse, and as in the postcard above, zebras test the catapult power of a toaster.  It is the animals way of braking the same old routine.
