I am a huge fan of the Pixar short films, but this one is one of my favorites.

Boundin' is a 2003 Pixar computer-animated short film, which was shown in theaters before the feature-length film The Incredibles. The short is a musically narrated story about a dancing sheep, who loses his confidence after being sheared. The film was written, directed, narrated and featured the musical composition and performance of Pixar animator Bud Luckey.

As Easterners moved West, pioneers found animals as exotic as the landscape...buffalo, prairie dogs, bears, beavers, bighorn sheep, cougars, wolves and rattlesnakes.  The eagle became a national symbol.

This is postmarked, First Day of Issue, on Oct. 18, 1994 in Laramie, WY with a matching 19 cent stamp.

Rocky Mountain Wildlife - 2. Bighorn Ram

Bighorn Ram - Ovis canadensis.
Majestic bighorn sheep symbolize the grandeur of the Rocky Mountins.  Although both sexes have horns, rams carry the massive, spiraling horns used for head-on butting during breeding season.

Vestmannaeyjar is a small group of islands off the south coast of Iceland. The volcanic island of Surtsey emerged from the ocean in 1963, and in 1973 the volcano Helgafell erupted, causing the population of 5,200 to be temporarily evacuated and adding 2.5 sq km/1 sq mi to the islands' area. The eruption created the volcanic cone of Eldfell. Heimaey, the largest of the islands, is one of Iceland's chief fishing ports.
