Clown Anemone Fish

Clown Anemone Fish (Amphiprion ocellaris).
This orange and white striped fish lives among the stinging tentacles of sea anemones.  It avoids their sting because of its special mucus coat.  Spawning occurs within reach of the anemone and a pair or single fish will occupy one anemone.  Living among the anemone's tentacles helps protect the clownfish from predators.
