Longsnout Seahorse
There are approximately 35 known species of seahorses, varying in size from less than an inch long to nearly a foot long. Their diet mainly consists of shrimp, and they must swallow their food whole, since they have no teeth. Seahorse reproduction is quite unique: The male gives birth to the young.
