Steller's Jay

Stellar's Jay (Cyanocitta stelleri) - (error - it is steller's with an e not an a)

The Stellar's jay is easily identifiable in its native habitat of the western United States because it is the only western jay with a crest.  This bird prefers coniferous or oak and redwood  forests throughout the West, from Alaska down to southern California and into Central America.
