Sanford Stadium. Named for Dr. Stedman V. Sanford former President of the University and Chancellor of the University System of Georgia. It was built in 1929, and is the 5th largest on-campus college stadium in the country.
The Arch - The historic arch which appears on the University's emblem was installed in 1864. For years freshmen were forbidden to walk under it.
Uga - One of the best known mascots in the country is the proud University of Georgia Bulldog, named Uga
