Rocky Mountain Wildlife - 7. Black Bear

Black Bear in Late Fall Foliage - Ursus americanus.
Rocky Mountain National park black bears are commonly brown or cinnamon colored.  Their smaller than average size is due to the region's short growing season and long winters.
